My vision tech team, Steve and Beatrice, were amazing! I would call him a prescription artist. I’ve struggled because though I have been nearsighted for 40 years, recently my close vision wasn’t working unless I took out my contacts. My vision specialist listened to my feedback on my follow-up when the first script wasn't perfect, lowered script in one eye to accommodate seeing better up close and found an even more comfortable lenses based on my input. Now i can see up close and far enough for driving and didn’t even have to do a bifocal. The appt was just $120 and follow up only $40. I'm shocked!

This is truly unacceptable service for anyplace let alone a medical facility. No water. No updates. No time management. No apologies. I am truly appalled and my father deserves better as do so many other patients who are sitting and waiting for extended periods. I will update that Dr Swanson was very kind and apologetic. Everyone has tough days and staffing problems. Nevertheless 3.5 hours is too long for anyone whether you’re 92 or 29 and taking time off work to make an appointment.

I do not doubt that they know what they are doing and while talking to an actual person, I feel in good hands. HOWEVER! I wish that I could tip a doctor office for getting me in on time so that I could have the satisfaction of stiffing this one. Go ahead and be ready to carve out 3 to 4 hours for any appointment you have here. They call you back late, each appointment is two hours and in my opinion every single patient is seething but too nice to say much. I wish I could blame it on the construction they have going on for years but it's always been like this.

Overall, 5 stars. Dr Fagadau is a very good surgeon and has a very good bedside manner. His staff, which doesn’t change a lot, is remarkably consistent from visit to visit. Occasionally, his office will back up and you’ll have to wait longer than 15 minutes, but I can count less than a handful since I’ve been a patient (a long time). In addition to eye exams, prescriptions for glasses, etc., he did cataract surgery on both my eyes and both my wife’s eyes and we are extremely happy with the outcomes. Hers were 3 yrs ago and mine 2 yrs ago. He watches post-op recovery like a hawk I got those new-fangled IOLs (lens) in my eyes and said good-bye to reading glasses forever. He is not a knife-happy surgeon and will not recommend surgery unless the medical conditions warrant. He always gives the options available and does not push. I’ve known him for 30+ years.
